About Family Counseling Center

For over 15 years FCCR staff have been providing specialized treatment options to clients and their families who are concerned about an alcohol abuse or substance abuse problem.

Family Counseling Center for Recovery provides treatment services at three locations. Two in the Richmond area with a third in Fredericksburg. We offer the only outpatient treatment centers in the area that are capable of the full continuum of treatment options. We have full-time RNs, psychiatrists specializing in addiction medicine and onsite pharmacists at each location.
At Family Counseling Center for Recovery, our medical and clinical staff specialize in the treatment of addiction. We strive to build relationships with our patients and help them towards living the life they deserve to live.

Effective treatment requires matching each individual’s complex needs, goals and readiness for change to the most appropriate interventions available. The Family Counseling Center’s substance abuse program combines medical, pharmacological, psychiatric and counseling approaches in one location. The treatment team works with each client and his or her family members to develop and implement a complete plan for stabilization, recovery and ongoing support.
