30-Day Residential Treatment for Addiction
Our residential addiction program is compassionate and empowering. We provide a safe therapeutic environment to begin the recovery process from the harmful effects of addiction. While our clients are recovering from substance dependency, they build life skills that will help them succeed independently in lifelong recovery. Clients are taught about the disease of addiction and a range of coping skills by our group and individual therapists. Our Recovery Coaches help clients navigate our daily activities and any issues that spring up along the way to graduation. Throughout the program, clients regularly meet with a Treatment Team to individualize their treatment and develop personal goals for their treatment program and beyond.
It can be hard to focus on recovery while experiencing the symptoms of drug withdrawal. Our detox protocols were professionally developed to reduce the discomfort that comes with detox and withdrawal. Clients who need detox upon admission are closely monitored while they recover from the effects of withdrawal. When they’re ready, clients transition into the normal daily activities of our program.
Group and Individual Therapy
Much of the therapy and addiction education at Stepworks is done in group settings, in which clients experience the full therapeutic benefit of a collaborative, constructive group recovery process. Days at Stepworks are structured around a number of education and therapy groups led by our professional therapists. In addition, you’ll have individual therapy sessions to more deeply explore your personal history, ways of thinking, and goals for recovery.
Family Therapy
Clients at Stepworks are encouraged to schedule in-house therapy sessions in which their family members also participate. Although family sessions are not the core of our program, they offer an opportunity for clients and their families to collaborate on shared goals for the client’s recovery. These sessions can also help family members of clients come to a better understanding of the disease of addiction and how they can support their recovering loved one in a healthy and productive way.
Continuing Care
Clients at Stepwork start long-term treatment planning with their therapist at the beginning of their journey through our program. Throughout the program, therapists and treatment teams continually work on identifying each client’s personal needs for long-term recovery, structure, and support. When clients might need additional substance use treatment after completing our program, our staff works to find an appropriate long-term residential program, recovery home, outpatient service, or social support group in their region of residence.
