About Council for Alcohol/DA Servs Inc (CADAS)

Many individuals addicted to prescription drugs or alcohol will experience significant cravings and other medical complications when they begin a program of recovery. Medically-Monitored Detoxification is an effective tool substance abusers can utilize at CADAS to minimize or eliminate these symptoms.

24/7 medical supervision and cutting edge medical treatment is available to help our clients withdraw from alcohol and/or drugs in a safe manner. This service is a first step for those experiencing or anticipating significant withdrawal symptoms. Most will benefit from transitioning into a lesser level of care when appropriate. Length of stay for Medial Detoxification is usually less than ten days.

Medical care and monitoring is provided by qualified medical staff directed by Dr. John Standridge, Medical Director and Addictionologist. Dr. John Standridge is certified by the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) and was recently named to the inaugural group of board-certified addiction-medicine specialist by the American Board of Addiction Medicine (ABAM) This accomplishment was achieved by only 1,240 doctors nationwide.
