- Addiction Recovery Treatment
Our fully integrated, dual-diagnosis treatment includes services for clients with addiction and mental health issues with treatment focusing on the fundamentals of recovery, development of recovery plans and relapse prevention. Individual, group and family therapy along with case management services are also provided. Psychiatric services are provided by our addiction psychiatrists and our multi-disciplinary team works together to offer clients a combination of therapies and medications to support recovery and promote overall wellness.
Eskenazi Health Midtown also provides detoxification treatment for alcohol, benzodiazepines and opiates with linkage to treatment services. Clients are seen Monday through Friday on a daily basis for assessment of symptoms, vital signs and brief mental status exams. Detox services are individualized and generally last between two to four weeks.
Eskenazi Health Midtown Narcotics Treatment Program (NTP) provides medication assisted treatment to clients with opiate dependence.
Comprehensive Addiction Treatment with Medication Assistance (Methadone) Our fully integrated, dual-diagnosis treatment includes services for clients with addiction and mental health issues with treatment focusing on the fundamentals of recovery, development of recovery plans and relapse prevention. We utilize medication-assisted treatment along with individual, group and family treatment.
The criteria for admission to the Eskenazi Health Midtown NTP are dependence on an opiate drug for at least one year prior to admission as assessed by the program physician and nursing team. Clients will receive assessment and treatment for other dependence issues and mental health needs. The program offers both medication and therapeutic interventions with the goal of abstinence from all illicit substances including alcohol, tobacco and other substances. Clients are engaged in treatment planning during the assessment process and review their goals and progress throughout treatment. Individual, group and family counseling are part of the treatment program.
