About First Step Recovery PLLP
First Step Recovery PLLP is a nonprofit outpatient addiction treatment program of The Village Family Service Center. They serve adults and young adults in Fargo, North Dakota.
Licensed addiction counselors provide evidence based care for alcohol and drug use disorders, including cooccurring mental health conditions, using cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention counseling and 12 step facilitation.
The program offers whole person treatment in a confidential environment where every individual is treated with respect and dignity.
Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient and Low Intensity Treatment
First Step Recovery provides flexible levels of care designed to meet you where you are in recovery. Options include a partial hospitalization program for intensive support, intensive outpatient with day and evening groups, low intensity outpatient with weekly individual therapy and continuing care groups for relapse prevention.
Treatment combines individual, group, family and couples counseling with proven approaches like contingency management and CBT.
Licensed addiction counselors work closely with an on staff registered nurse to address underlying medical and psychological issues, ensuring comprehensive care.
