About Good Road Recovery Center
Good Road Recovery Center in Bismarck, North Dakota, provides drug rehab services exclusively to enrolled members of the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara (MHA) Nation. Private insurance options and self-pay are accepted.
You’ll find this facility on a 22-acre campus north of Bismarck, boasting a large and impressive cultural mural etched in granite. The center itself was constructed from reclaimed lumber and is complete with two tornado shelters and triple-glazed, energy-efficient windows.
Detox and Residential Services
Clients can benefit from non-medical detox services, also known as social detoxification. This is offered as part of residential care, alongside high and low-intensity residential programming.
While staying on a private, rural campus, residents can enjoy expansive green spaces, complete with several walking paths and a BBQ dining patio. The overall environment is peaceful, serene and ideal for reflection and healing.
Rural Outpatient Addiction Treatment
Flexible support services are also available through their partial hospitalization program (PHP), an intensive outpatient program (IOP) and standard outpatient programming. The latter two options are recommended to individuals wanting to keep up their regular work, study or childcare routine alongside recovery.
The facility favors a holistic approach to treatment, integrating spiritual aspects and cultural teachings of the MHA Nation into programming. Equine therapy is also provided. Personalized case management is also available, with programs lasting 18-24 months.
