- Substance Abuse Treatment
The Adult Acute Inpatient Treatment Program at Options Behavioral Health is designed for men and women, ages 18 to 64, who are struggling with mental, behavioral, psychiatric disorders and/or certain co-occurring substance abuse issues. Patients who have a primary diagnosis of mental illness and secondary substance use disorder may be treated in our dual diagnosis program.
The typical length of stay in Adult Acute Inpatient Treatment Program is three to 21 days. Patients who have been unable to wean themselves from their substances of abuse prior to entering treatment may spend five to 10 days in our medically monitored detox program, then transition into inpatient care.
At Options, we provide clinically sophisticated treatment in a warm and nurturing environment. We endeavor to form close relationships with our patients and their families, and we are dedicated to treating all who heal with us with the utmost dignity and respect.
When a patient has completed his or her time with us, he or she will leave Options with a detailed discharge plan. This document will detail the patient’s progress while in treatment, identify issues of ongoing focus or concern, and include referrals and other support services that will be necessary for the client to maintain and build upon the progress that he or she made while in our care.
