About Quality Addiction Management (QAM) West Milwaukee
Quality Addiction Management (QAM), part of the Acadia Healthcare network, is a drug rehab in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The West Milwaukee Center provides ambulatory medical detox, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), inpatient (IP) and outpatient (OP) programs, and aftercare for young adults and adults. Specialized services are available for veterans.
At QAM-West Milwaukee, clients receive supervision and a structured environment to manage their withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings. Clinicians administer FDA-approved prescriptions, such as methadone, Suboxone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone, while counselors provide emotional wellness training to address co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. Clients with less acute cases may be eligible for take-home dosing.
After detox, clients transition into an outpatient program that emphasizes long-term recovery. QAM provides individual and group therapy, and peer support, and promotes healthy daily living habits and routines. The center can provide referrals to other Acadia facilities or to outside treatment centers for substance abuse.
QAM – West Milwaukee is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), The Joint Commission, the National Alliance on Medical Illness (NAMI), and the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers.
QAM – West Milwaukee offers self-pay and financing options. The center accepts Medicare and Medicaid and is in a network with Aetna, BlueCross/Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana, TRICARE, and United Healthcare. Please check your insurance provider for coverage and out-of-network benefits.
