About Trinity Hospital St Josephs Addiction Services

Trinity Hospital St. Joseph’s Addiction Services is a Joint Commission accredited, hospital based addiction treatment program located on the fourth floor of Trinity Hospital in Minot, North Dakota.

The 33 bed unit offers a full continuum of care for adolescents ages 13 and older through adults, with a focus on 12 step recovery, dual diagnosis treatment, and evidence based therapies including DBT, CBT, and motivational interviewing.

Trinity accepts Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, private insurance, self-payment, and offers financial assistance programs for low-income and uninsured individuals.

Medical Detox and Hospital Based Addiction Treatment

Trinity operates the only hospital based addiction program with medical detoxification services west of Bismarck and north of Dickinson. The program provides medically supervised detox with around the clock healthcare monitoring and medications to ease withdrawal symptoms, followed by inpatient treatment, intensive outpatient programs, PHP, and comprehensive aftercare.

Adolescent and Family Centered Recovery Programs

Trinity offers dedicated programs for teens and young adults starting at age 13, with strong emphasis on family involvement and healing. Families participate in therapy sessions, parenting classes, and FAST (Families and Schools Together) programs to support lasting recovery for younger patients navigating substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions.
