The Volunteers of America Northern Rockies The Life House is a treatment facility in Sheridan, Wyoming. This program is organized by the Volunteers of American Northern Rockies and provides patients with a safe, reliable treatment facility in the heart of the western United States. With a backdrop of beautiful mountain vistas, this serene facility provides the utmost in care.
Its staff is dedicated and well-trained, providing the kind of care that is necessary for safe detox from drugs or alcohol. In addition, each client has their own treatment plan and their own clinician for one-on-one care. At The Life House, you can be certain you will be given the treatment you require in order to navigate your withdrawal symptoms and begin your recovery from substance abuse.
The Volunteers of America Northern Rockies The Life House received the CARF Seal of Accreditation and provides residential detoxification treatment to male patients. Many different treatment options, amenities, and activities are available at The Life House as part of one’s recovery program, but in general, this facility provides a highly personalized approach for each and every client.
Patients are assigned to a clinician when they arrive, and a specialized plan is mapped out for each and every individual for the most specific care. From the earliest days of treatment—starting at intake and continuing through the patient’s detox and into aftercare—the staff at The Life House work tirelessly to ensure patients are safe and the process of withdrawal is as smooth as possible.
The facility provides a number of programs, including detox treatment, behavioral therapy, and help with vocational, parenting, and social skills. Anything patients need during the process of withdrawal and their transition into treatment can be found here.
The average length of stay at The Life House is 90 days, but some patients will stay less or more time, depending on their individual needs. This facility is specifically catered to the needs of male patients going through detox, and it also provides addiction rehab, which will make the transition from initial recovery to more intensive treatment much easier.
Treatment at The Life House comes in many forms. Each and every patient receives his own personalized care. Depending on the patient’s needs and situation, one or more of these therapeutic modalities may be acceptable for the patient’s early recovery. 30 hours of group activities are also available to clients every week, and these activities focus intensely on addiction and dependency treatment strategies.
The Life House offers clients more than just the evidence-based practices of detox treatment. In addition, families of patients can visit their loved ones every Friday for Family Day, and a number of educational programs are available during these times for all members of the patient’s family.
