The Residential Treatment Facility (RTF) at Eisenhower Army Medical Center provides alcohol and drug rehab services for active-duty military personnel. They offer medication assisted treatment (MAT) residential treatment and aftercare services, including specialized support for clients with co-occurring addictions and mental health disorders.
Their MAT services help clients detox from alcohol, opioids, and other substances before transitioning into the next phase of recovery. Around-the-clock nursing care is available to ensure client comfort. As needed, providers can administer FDA-approved addiction medications to ease the physical symptoms of withdrawal, reduce cravings, and minimize the risk of relapse.
Their inpatient program lasts four weeks and includes an array of services designed to help clients work through their addictions and prepare to return to the military force. Providers perform a comprehensive psychiatric and medical evaluation to determine the appropriate level of care required, and available services include individual, group, and family therapy, recreational and occupational therapy, access to 12 step programming, and spiritual support. Providers also offer active discharge planning services to help clients transition into other, military-focused outpatient addiction recovery programs.
