About Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center – Thomas P. Stitt Building
Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center – Thomas P. Stitt Building is located in Indianapolis, Indiana. The center provides outpatient detox and medication assisted treatment (MAT) for adults. Medicaid and Medicare are accepted.
In order to receive adult addiction services, you must be 18 years of age or older. The main requirement to be admitted into this program is that you must be dependent on an opiate drug. By the assessment you will be taking, the physician and nursing team will be able to determine that.
Their opioid treatment program will provide MAT, counseling, psychiatric services and case management. If you have a dual diagnosis, you will be able to receive treatment for co-occurring addiction and mental health issues.
You will be able to receive detox in an outpatient setting. Their staff will assess your vital signs, assess your symptoms and conduct a brief mental status exam. You would need to go every day throughout the week. This typically lasts two to four weeks.
Your treatment plan will focus on the fundamentals of recovery as well as developing your recovery plan. You and your care team will assess your progress and goals and make adjustments to your treatment plan when needed.
What stood out to me is that they have partnered with Overdose Lifeline. With this partnership, they are able to provide access to naloxone. They also have xylazine test strips and fentanyl test strips available 24/7.
