About Mid South Treatment Center: Farmer Rachel I MD
Behavioral Health Group (BHG) Dyersburg Treatment Center specializes in opioid use disorder treatment services for adults. Their services are all outpatient to suit the busy lives of its clients. They provide medication-assisted recovery (MAR) with methadone or Suboxone.
MA, also known as medication-assisted treatment, is a federally recognized program to treat opioid use. This treatment begins with a screening followed by being prescribed a medication that is right for each client. Depending on the medication, individuals can fill their prescriptions at their local pharmacy or receive their dose at the clinic. With methadone, clients will eventually be able to have take-home dosing once they have stabilized.
On top of receiving medication to decrease cravings, individuals in a MAR program will also meet with a trained addiction counselor. Sessions are confidential and can take place in person or virtually. Group and family counseling may also be offered.
BHG accepts Medicaid and Medicare. Other coverage options may be available.
