Mental Health & Complementary Treatments

When they were open, this Adventist location provided mental health support services and behavioral health services to address mental health conditions that often accompany substance use disorder challenges. They offered a whole person approach that could include medication management, individual and group therapy and complimentary wellness approaches to support your overall mental health.

Holistic Approaches to Care and Referrals for Detox and MAT

These holistic approaches could include art therapy, movement therapy, music therapy and yoga. The staff also offered a Serenity Spot on the campus to help calm your mind and relax your body. While they didn’t provide detox or medication assisted treatment, they could refer to their local sister facility in Rockville.

This location provides a chemical dependency program in addition to treatment for mental health conditions. Rockville also offers a healing garden and provides accredited care for mental health and behavioral health services. As part of a large hospital system, they also work with many health insurance providers in the state, including Medicare and Medicaid.
