Alano Club of Kalispell
About Alano Club of Kalispell
Alano Club of Kalispell is a nonprofit community recovery center in Kalispell, Montana. They provide free outpatient support for individuals and families affected by addiction. The club hosts 12 step meetings for Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Al Anon, and other recovery groups, with sessions available every day of the year.
Founded in 2001 and relocated to a renovated former bar in 2016, the club offers a safe and welcoming environment where anyone seeking recovery can find peer support without financial barriers.
Year Round 12 Step Recovery Support
Alano Club of Kalispell serves as a central gathering place for multiple 12 step programs and offers daily group meetings, including evenings, weekends and holidays. The club provides a consistent and accessible setting where members can attend confidential meetings, connect with self selected sponsors for one on one peer guidance. Members also participate in recovery focused personal and spiritual growth activities through a non denominational approach.
While the meetings are effective, they do not provide detox or medication assisted treatment options. When this level of care is needed, they can provide a referral to community resources.
Family And Community Centered Care
Meetings are designed to meet a wide range of needs and include gender specific sessions, age appropriate groups, and family focused programming. Services emphasize the core principles of the 12 step model while addressing addiction related challenges through shared experiences, peer accountability, and community connection.
In addition to supporting individual recovery, the club offers specialized meetings for children, spouses, friends, and family members who are affected by a loved one’s substance use. These groups provide a supportive space to address co-dependency concerns, establish healthy boundaries, improve communication and promote collective healing.
By involving families and loved ones in the recovery process, the club helps strengthen relationships and encourages long term emotional stability within the community.
All services are provided at no cost as part of the organization’s nonprofit mission to ensure that recovery support is available to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances.
