Guidance Foundation Inc is an outpatient addiction treatment center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico that offers dual diagnosis treatment for mental health and substance use disorders. The center offers outpatient and intensive outpatient programs, medication-assisted treatment for opioid and alcohol addiction, and individual, group, and family counseling.

The office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The accept Medicaid, Medicare, private health insurance, and TriCare. Self pay and a sliding fee scale based on income are also offered.

Detox for Opioid and Alcohol Use Disorders

Detox and medication assisted treatment utilizes methadone, buprenorphine, naltrexone including injectable Vivitrol, disulfiram, and acamprosate for opioid and alcohol use disorders. The center is certified to provide opioid treatment and offers telehealth options.

Special Programs and Psychiatric Medications

The center offers treatment to adults including LGBT clients, seniors, pregnant and postpartum women, and transitional age young adults. Specialized programming is offered to DUI/DWI clients, clients referred by the criminal justice system, and those who have experienced trauma, sexual abuse, or domestic violence.

Spanish language services and support for deaf and hard of hearing clients are available.

Therapies include cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, contingency management, trauma related counseling, anger management, and relapse prevention. The center also prescribes psychiatric medications such as antidepressants and mood stabilizers.
