If more medical help is required, you might first visit their crisis stabilization unit until you’re ready for residential or outpatient levels of care.

While staying at Haven House, you can also benefit from their medication management services. This helps you keep on top of prescribed medications while focusing on your recovery.

Treatment for Underlying Mental Health Concerns

As specialists in co-occurring disorders, Haven House has extensive experience with the many ways that addiction interacts with your mental health. They can help you work through things like depression, anxiety or PTSD.

You’ll work through these topics and more during individual, group and family therapy sessions. Each type of therapy creates a slightly different environment for sharing and learning, giving you a well-rounded view on the nature of addiction and mental health.

Support for Employment, Parenting, and Managing Anger

Part of what makes Haven House’s treatment model so useful is the fact that it gives you the tools to be successful in many areas of your life. They can help those with disabilities or other barriers to find and maintain employment through their supported employment services. They have parenting classes which teach you what healthy childhoods look like, how to communicate with kids at different ages, and how to foster supportive and safe relationships in your home.

Anger management classes teach you about working through frustration and disappointment in thoughtful ways. You’ll learn techniques that help you keep a clear head and calm demeanor, making peaceful relationships possible.
