Journey Healing Centers provides residential and outpatient addiction treatment for adults 18 and older at the base of the Wasatch Mountain Range in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Joint Commission accredited program was designed by people with lived recovery experience and offers a safe, supportive, home like environment.
Detox for Dual Diagnosis
Journey specializes in treating clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, with physicians managing medical needs for those taking multiple medications. The program also offers detox and medication assisted treatment using buprenorphine maintenance, oral naltrexone, and Vivitrol.
Evidence based therapies include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, EMDR, motivational enhancement, and trauma informed counseling. Sessions address both addiction and underlying mental health conditions through individual, group, and family therapy helping clients rebuild mind, body, and spirit in a structured, client centered setting.
Holistic and Naturopathic Therapies
Journey’s multidisciplinary team blends traditional therapy with naturopathic and holistic methods overseen by a naturopathic physician. Complementary therapies include reiki, meditation, art therapy, yoga, massage, nutrition counseling, and expressive outlets like music therapy and hip hop dance classes.
Journey operates from its chalet style facility in a serene mountain setting with luxury amenities, koi ponds, and hiking trails. The program is Joint Commission accredited with a team that understands addiction from personal and clinical perspectives.
