About Lund
Lund Family Center is a family services organization at the edge of suburban South Burlington, Vermont. They have a variety of services to help support and unite families like adoption services but they also support healthy families through drug and alcohol addiction treatment.
They have residential rehab for parents with addiction where they can bring their young children with them up to age 5 and they have outpatient addiction treatment programs, too. Their programs can include detox care to help you through the transition of withdrawal and your body learning how to function without drugs and alcohol again.
During your detox they can also help with treating any co-occurring mental health conditions you have along with your addiction. Ultimately the goal here is to help you be a healthier parent and create a stable life for your family so they can provide or connect you with any type of support you need to make that happen.
Lund is located in the South End area of Burlington. It’s just a few blocks from Burlington Country Club and not far from Shelburne Bay and Red Rock Point. It’s easy to access from I-89 and I-189 as well as Highway 7. The East Woods Natural Area is close by if you can unwind and clear your mind in the great outdoors in between counseling.
The reviews for this facility are mostly positive. While some clients have frustrations about some of the center’s other services like adoption there are several clients who have been happy with their treatment and support services.
