BHG Asheville Treatment Center
About BHG Asheville Treatment Center
BHG Asheville Treatment Center provides customized medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for individuals facing opioid use challenges and co-occurring conditions in Asheville and the greater Buncombe County area of North Carolina. They’re located in a leafy neighborhood just west of Asheville’s Uptown River Arts District. It’s northwest of the North Carolina Arboretum, the Grove Arcade, and the Basilica of Saint Lawrence.
At BHG, compassionate experts foster a welcoming atmosphere. Their recovery services are available to LGBTQ+ individuals, people living with HIV/AIDS and pregnant or postpartum women. They even support veterans.
Medication-Supported Recovery For Long-Term Abstinence
MAT combines counseling with FDA-approved medications. It starts with a thorough medical assessment and screening. This approach may include a prescription for methadone, Suboxone, Zubsolv, or Bunavail to ease withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings.
You’ll participate in regular therapy to prevent relapse and strengthen your support network. Your therapist also helps diagnose and treat co-occurring mental health conditions like depression to ensure whole-person recovery.
Flexible and Affordable Opioid Recovery
We love how BHG tailors their outpatient opioid recovery without disrupting daily work, school or family responsibilities. You can choose to dose at BHG centers or receive a prescription to fill at a pharmacy. You earn take-home privileges upon stabilization for greater independence and less frequent clinic visits.
You can choose to attend therapy sessions in person or virtually through telehealth.
The facility accepts Medicaid and Medicare to help reduce financial barriers. Grant funding is also available for those who don’t have insurance.
One past client noted, “ The staff at this clinic treat me like family, they have went above and beyond for me, they take time out to check on me and let me know that they are there for me and are concerned about my treatment and me as a person.”
