New Dawn Treatment Center – Reno Outpatient

About New Dawn Treatment Center – Reno Outpatient
New Dawn Treatment Center is a facility in Reno, Nevada that offers intensive outpatient care. This is a CARF accredited and family owned organization dedicated to helping adults overcome substance use disorders alongside co-occurring mental health issues. They use a variety of evidence based approaches including medication assisted treatment.
New Dawn has provided compassionate and evidence based care to support long term recovery since 1987. The center accepts Medicaid and other insurance options.
Proven Treatment Modalities
Their evidence based therapies include cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. I like that their specialized services address trauma and dual diagnoses.
Medication assisted treatment (MAT) with buprenorphine, naltrexone or Vivitrol is available. These addiction medicines will help reduce uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms such as muscle aches and anxiety. Your cravings will also be reduced. Medications for alcohol use disorder will be prescribed offsite.
Flexible Treatment
The IOP is designed for individuals transitioning from detox, residential treatment or those with moderate addiction who don’t require 24 hour care. They offer morning, afternoon and evening sessions to make care more convenient for you.
You will participate in daily group therapy and individual counseling five days a week. Your time in their IOP will focus on coping skills, relapse prevention and patient centered treatment planning.
Additional Resources To Maintain Sobriety
They offer additional services such as anger management and recovery coaching. What stood out to me is that they provide free lifetime aftercare for graduates to ensure ongoing support.
The center provides telehealth options and drug testing to maintain sobriety. They also serve diverse populations that include veterans and those with court referrals.
