About Operation PAR Pasco County
Since 1970, Operation PAR has been delivering mental health care and substance use disorder treatment across the Tampa Bay area of Florida. They support adults, adolescents and children alongside families affected by these conditions. Emphasis is on improving individual well-being, strengthening families and promoting a thriving community.
The agency is recognized by the Central Florida Behavioral Health Network as a 5-Star Service Organization for meeting high standards of care, accountability and client satisfaction. They feature medical detox, residential care and outpatient services.
Operation PAR operates outpatient opioid recovery clinics specializing in medication-assisted treatment (MAT) across more than nine counties in the Tampa Bay region, including Pasco County. This clinic is located in Port Richey, east of Eagle Point Park and southwest of Historic Downtown New Port Richey & Suncoast Theatre. The clinic fosters a nurturing and relaxed atmosphere where skilled and friendly experts help clients overcome dependency on common opioids such as heroin, OxyContin and fentanyl.
The clinic leverages automation to minimize wait times. They also offer same-day oral fluid testing during the initial intake to support timely and personalized care. Specialized treatment options are available for opioid-dependent pregnant women. It’s great that they accept Medicaid.
Medication-Supported Recovery For Long-Term Wellness
Opioid addiction recovery at the Pasco County clinic involves a diagnostic intake assessment that includes a physical examination and lab work. This may include a prescription for methadone, buprenorphine or Vivitrol to manage withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings. You’ll then attend therapy sessions to build robust relapse prevention strategies, address underlying emotional issues and support long-term recovery.
You’ll also benefit from the support of a recovery coach who’ll provide guidance and encouragement and help you reinforce your commitment to recovery. These experts can also connect you to community resources for housing, employment and transportation.
