About Riverside Recovery of Tampa
The Tampa, Florida location of Riverside Recovery aims to provide a complete continuum of care for clients to help them achieve sobriety. The facility offers medical detox, residential treatment, and outpatient programs while integrating the traditional and modern techniques of treatment.
The facility is located along the Hillsborough River which makes the environment even more relaxing for the patients. Some of the therapies that are used in the treatment process include cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy. These evidence based practices are also incorporated with art, music and yoga experiences to help with the emotional aspects of recovery.
Some of the features of the facility include a pool, a gym and catered meals, which helps patients feel comfortable and concentrate on their recovery. Many of the staff members of the organization are graduates of the program, which allows them to understand the feelings of the patients and sympathize with them.
After residential treatment you can access multiple outpatient programs, including an intensive outpatient program(IOP) and general outpatient care. You can also get aftercare support when you graduate which may include job training, help with interviewing skills, housing placement, connections to 12 step programs, and more.
Previous clients have praised the staff members for their commitment and sensitivity and for being a source of encouragement during the recovery process. However, others point at certain issues concerning the communication and/or policy.
Riverside Recovery aims to focus on every patient and foster an environment that allows for healing and personal development. They hope to provide a safe and structured environment for clients to begin recovery.
Levels of Care
-
Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.
-
Outpatient
In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
-
Dual Diagnosis
Dual diagnosis programs address substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions simultaneously. This integrated approach to care improves the likelihood of long term recovery and stability by addressing the root causes of addiction.
Detox Service Setting
-
Inpatient Detox
Inpatient detox occurs in a dedicated treatment facility. You’ll live there around the clock and receive intensive medical support and supervision to help manage your withdrawal symptoms. It is suitable for individuals with moderate to severe addictions as it ensures a stable detox environment.
-
Outpatient Detox
Outpatient detox gives you access to medically supervised withdrawal services while still allowing you to live at home. You’ll attend a clinic for treatment and monitoring. This flexible option is suitable for those with mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms who have strong support systems.
