New Horizons of the Treasure Coast and Okeechobee offers alcohol and drug rehab services in Fort Pierce, Florida. The center provides ambulatory medical detox, inpatient (IP), intensive outpatient (IOP), general outpatient (OP), and aftercare programs for young adults and adults. Specialized services are available for children, adolescents, and justice-involved persons. A mobile unit is also available.

At New Horizons, a 15-bed facility provides clients a structured environment to manage their withdrawal pains and reduce cravings. Clinicians administer FDA-approved prescriptions, such as Vivitrol, Subutex, Suboxone, and Narcan, to prevent relapse and strengthen resilience. Psychosocial therapy approaches are also available. For acute cases, the Fort Pierce facility has 30 beds for eligible clients with referrals from a supervising physician.

After detox, up to 6 clients may transition into a 28-day inpatient program, which includes enrollment in a 12 12-step program. Outpatient services include life skills development, individual and group therapy, and social services. New Horizons of the Treasure Coast and Okeechobee may make referrals to outside treatment centers for specialized substance abuse programs.
