About Boxwood Detox and Recovery Program
We help individuals:
Recognize and address problems related to the use of drugs or alcohol.
Increase education about the disease of alcohol and drug addiction.
Identify specific changes that need to occur to initiate and sustain recovery.
Eliminate the use of substances.
Identify needed supports and options for continued services or treatment after leaving Boxwood.
Recognize the symptoms of relapse and develop a detailed relapse prevention plan.
Develop an on-going Recovery Program that will be a benefit throughout life.
Boxwood is designed for 28 days of treatment; however we can accommodate CSB requests for other lengths of stay based on the individual’s needs.
Policies
Admission Criteria:
Individuals must be medically stable and not experiencing acute medical problems or require continuous medical supervision/care.
Individuals must be abstinent from alcohol for 7 days and from all other drugs for 10 days prior to admission A drug screen is completed upon arrival to Boxwood.
Individuals who take medications must bring a 30 day supply in an original, non-expired prescription container.
Individuals taking Digoxin, thyroid medication or anticonvulsant must provide documentation of recent therapeutic levels of these medications for our medical staff to review.
Individuals are responsible for the costs of any medications prescribed by Boxwood’s attending physician.
Individuals must be TB-free. If a person has tested positive for TB in the past, we require a physician’s certification that the person is not contagious.
Individuals who are pregnant must have documentation indicating the pregnancy is stable. Boxwood will not admit after the 6th month of pregnancy (2nd trimester).
Individuals must arrange for transportation to and from Boxwood.
Calls to numbers on a specific treatment center listing will be routed to that treatment center. Additional calls will also be forwarded and returned by a quality treatment center within the USA.
Calls to any general helpline (non-facility specific 1-8XX numbers) for your visit will be answered by a licensed drug and alcohol rehab facility, a paid advertiser on Detox.com.
