Carastar provides mobile crisis services that can come to you, crisis residential care with observation beds for up to 23 hours and residential beds for stays up to seven days and after hours crisis counseling available any time. The team completes assessments and connects clients to community providers and substance abuse treatment through partnerships, including referrals to Baptist Health Center for Addiction Recovery for detox and ongoing care.

Carastar Crisis Center is located on Carmichael Road in Montgomery and is open 24/7 for walk ins and crisis calls. If you cannot reach the facility, the Mobile Crisis Team can come to you anywhere in Montgomery, Autauga and Elmore, Lowndes and surrounding Central Alabama counties.
