About Cityteam Portland
CityTeam Portland is an addiction treatment center and recovery residence in Portland, Oregon serving individuals struggling with homelessness, substance use disorders and life instability. Located on Grand Avenue in the Central Eastside Industrial District, CityTeam offers emergency shelter, residential recovery programs for men and women and transitional housing to support long term sobriety.
Since 1957, the organization has provided faith based, trauma informed care that addresses the physical, emotional, social and spiritual dimensions of recovery.
Multiple Treatment Tracks for Men
Treatment begins with a safe foundation: men can access emergency overnight shelter while CityTeam’s residential programs are the core of long term recovery. The Renew Program is a one year residential track for men addressing addictive behavior and homelessness, while Community of Hope offers six to twelve months of residential care for women and children in crisis, including those escaping domestic violence.
Both programs integrate twelve step meetings, trauma sensitive mentoring, individualized career counseling, life skills classes, and faith based teaching to help participants maintain sobriety and rebuild stability.
Graduates can transition into CityTeam Forward transitional housing, which provides sober, affordable living environments and continued support as clients secure employment, reconnect with family and reintegrate into the community.
