About Connections CSP

Connections CSP is a private non-profit organization that provides addiction and mental health treatment in Millsboro, Delaware. They offer outpatient programs, detox, and medication assisted treatment for adults and families struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

The center is accredited by CARF and is licensed by state mental health departments. Payment options include Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, private insurance, state financed plans, and a sliding fee scale for uninsured clients.

Detox for Alcohol and Opioid Users

Detox and medication assisted treatment uses methadone, buprenorphine, or Vivitrol to treat withdrawals and cravings associated with opioid and alcohol use disorders. General outpatient and intensive outpatient programming with individualized counseling, group therapy, and family therapy are offered.

Treatment therapies used include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma counseling, and relapse prevention. Case management offers support for housing, employment, transportation, and other needs.

Specialized Program for Pregnant and Postpartum Women

The Mother and Baby Program is available for pregnant and postpartum women in addiction recovery. Mothers are educated weekly on prenatal care, parenting, and breastfeeding while receiving support from a pregnancy counselor. Clients can earn points for group attendance to redeem for baby essentials through the facility’s baby closet.
