The Mohr Center, part of Region Ten Community Services, offers inpatient medical detox and residential alcohol and drug rehab for adult men in Charlottesville, Virginia. They provide comprehensive assessments so that when detox ends, clients can be connected with the type of alcohol and drug rehab program that best meets their needs.
Clients in medical detox are supervised 24/7 by medical professionals who can give medication and other treatments to manage withdrawal symptoms. Detox also includes individual and group counseling to address the mental and emotional aspects of withdrawal, along with treatment planning so clients know what’s next.
After detox, residential treatment can help clients focus solely on recovery and receive intensive care. For more medically stable clients, outpatient care can be an effective way to continue on the road to recovery.
