About Evolution Group
Evolution Group is an addiction treatment and mental health center in Albuquerque, New Mexico, offering outpatient and intensive outpatient services for substance use and co-occurring disorders. Since 1998, their team has provided individual, group and family counseling.
They provide specialized trauma therapies like EMDR, Brainspotting and RTM. Clients appreciate the welcoming atmosphere, authentic staff and supportive community that makes real healing possible.
Various Outpatient Treatment Programs
Evolution Group provides outpatient and intensive outpatient programs for substance use disorders, mental health conditions and dual diagnosis clients. Their signature Integrity Recovery Program addresses the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual dimensions of addiction, while specialized services help individuals with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, process addictions like gambling or pornography and more.
Who Can Get Help?
The center serves adolescents, adults, seniors, pregnant and postpartum women, LGBTQIA+ individuals, veterans, active duty military and bilingual Spanish speaking clients. They also provide culturally responsive care for Native American populations and work with Metropolitan Drug Court and Metropolitan Recovery Court clients.
Evolution Group also has remote offices in Ruidoso and Santa Fe and offers telehealth services throughout New Mexico. They accept Medicaid, TRICARE and other military insurance, private health insurance, cash and self pay and offers a sliding fee scale. State and federal funding for substance use programs is also available and the admissions team can help verify benefits.

Gayle Morris, BSN, MSN, received her bachelor’s from the University of Illinois Chicago Medical Center and her first master’s from the Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis. She practiced nursing for over two decades with a focus on pediatric physical rehabilitation, which required mental health skills to help children, and their parents work through new challenges after a head injury or spinal cord injury. She has been a freelance writer in health, wellness, and mental health for over 15 years. She loves exercise, her dogs and guinea pigs, and gardening.
