About FCC Behavioral Health Women and Childrens Program

FCC Behavioral Health Women and Children’s Program is also known as Serenity Pointe and is an addiction treatment center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri offering specialized substance use disorder services for women and their families.

The program provides residential and outpatient care for women 18 and older including pregnant and parenting women who can bring their children to treatment. As part of a nonprofit community behavioral health organization serving 19 counties in Southeast Missouri, Serenity Pointe emphasizes person centered recovery, family stability, and long term wellness.

Addiction Treatment Programs at Serenity Pointe

Women can begin their recovery journey with residential treatment where they receive 24 hour support, care plans, and the option to keep their children with them during treatment. From there clients can step down to transitional or day treatment programs that provide structure and intensive therapy while allowing greater flexibility.

For those needing outpatient support Serenity Pointe offers intensive outpatient and outpatient services that include client, family, and group therapy, relapse prevention, and dual diagnosis treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders.

Evidence based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and detox with Medication Assisted Treatment help address the full spectrum of recovery needs while employment supports assist women in rebuilding stability and independence.
