Fresh Start Sober Living Programs is a nonprofit recovery housing and support organization serving men and women aged 18 years and over in Columbia, Missouri. The program offers a continuum of sober living options, including peer respite housing, transitional recovery housing and permanent supportive sober living, alongside recovery support services, clubhouse groups and sober social events.

Recovery Housing for Re Entry and Transition

The program serves people coming from jail, prison, treatment programs and those experiencing homelessness, offering both private and shared room options across 3 housing levels to match individual needs and goals.

Fresh Start offers specialized single parent recovery housing and family reunification assistance, recognizing the unique challenges parents face in early recovery. The program includes access to the First Start Childcare Center, helping parents maintain stability while rebuilding family connections and meeting their children’s needs in a supportive environment.

Fresh Start operates a main office at 1101 Grand Avenue in Columbia, with a walk in respite location at 1206 Rangeline Street, open Monday through Friday during business hours and weekends by appointment.
