Healing House is a Kansas City nonprofit offering licensed outpatient substance use disorder treatment, serving adults across the Historic Northeast community.
The program provides Level 1 outpatient and Level 2.1 intensive outpatient care alongside recovery housing, peer support, case management and employment assistance.
Since 2002, Healing House has focused on meeting people where they are and walking alongside them toward lasting change through second chances and community-rooted recovery.
CSTAR Provider Offering Levels I, II, and III Outpatient Treatments
Healing House specializes in outpatient and intensive outpatient care for substance use disorders, delivered through an ASAM-aligned and person-centered model.
The program is CARF-accredited and certified by the Missouri Department of Mental Health as a CSTAR provider offering Levels I, II and III services.
Clients begin with an admissions assessment at no cost, followed by individualized care that may include therapy and education groups, counseling, case management and peer-based recovery support.
Recovery Housing and Community Support
Beyond clinical care, Healing House operates fifteen gender-separate recovery homes plus three apartment buildings for families with small children and residents further along in recovery.
Community outreach includes free Narcan, fentanyl test strips and confidential rapid HIV and HEP-C testing, extending support well beyond the therapy room.
