Nuevo Amanecer Program

Clients begin with an assessment and can enter outpatient or intensive outpatient substance abuse therapy both of which are certified by the Missouri Department of Mental Health. The Nuevo Amanecer program is designed to decrease substance use while improving client’s overall functioning and well-being.

Treatment includes individual therapy, family therapy, couples therapy, and group counseling led by licensed therapists. The center uses cognitive behavioral therapy, family-systems therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma-related counseling, relapse prevention, and 12-step facilitation to address both addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders.

Referrals for Detox and Community Help

The center does not offer detox treatment but can refer clients to local facilities that offer this service. Social work coordinators connect clients to housing, employment, childcare, legal services, and healthcare.
