About Milestones Womens Residential Program

Milestones Women’s Residential Program is a women’s addiction treatment center in Corvallis, Oregon, offering residential care, outpatient aftercare and transitional housing for women recovering from substance use disorders. This 12 bed facility serves adult women, young adults, and pregnant or postpartum mothers.

The program follows a family centered model that allows children under age 6 years to remain with their mothers during treatment. Milestones uses an evidence based, trauma informed approach that emphasizes abstinence, education, counseling, and long term family stability.

Women’s Residential Addiction Treatment Program

Women begin with residential treatment in a structured setting that provides 24/7 support for individuals recovering from alcohol and drug dependence. Care addresses co-occurring mental health conditions, trauma history and the distinct challenges many women experience in recovery. The goal is to help each client establish a stable foundation for sustained sobriety.

I like that after completing residential treatment, participants transition into a 1 year outpatient aftercare program that includes group counseling for former residents and their families. Treatment approaches may include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, the Matrix Model, relapse prevention strategies and medication assisted treatment. Individual, group, family and couples counseling sessions are available. It’s good to know they offer specialized groups that often focus on relationships, self esteem, body image, parenting skills, and trauma recovery.
