About New Life Ministries of NE Inc
New Life Ministries of NE Inc is a faith based residential addiction treatment program in Manchester, New Hampshire, offering long term recovery services exclusively for women struggling with substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions and life controlling issues. They don’t offer detox or MAT, but have community resources to help.
Allows Live In Programming for Women and Their Children
The program allows mothers to bring their children to live with them during treatment, removing a significant barrier to healing. With nearly 40 years of operation, New Life Ministries takes a holistic, Christian approach that addresses body, soul and spirit to restore broken lives and families. They are one of the nation’s oldest programs of their kind, allowing mothers to keep their children during recovery.
Addiction Treatment Programs
Women begin with a phone screening and in person interview with the intake coordinator and program director to determine fit and readiness for the 18 to 24 month residential program. This extended timeline is research based and designed to address the root causes of addiction, trauma and destructive patterns rather than short term symptom management.
Holistic Model of Treatment and Support
Residents participate in individual, group and family therapy alongside life skills training, parenting education, vocational development and trauma recovery services. The holistic model uses peer support, case management and Christian spiritual programming to rebuild self esteem, family relationships and the ability to manage household and employment responsibilities after graduation.
The program is completely free to participants. They are funded by private donations, foundations and individual supporters.
