About Renew Clinic – Birmingham

The Renew Clinic in Birmingham, Alabama, offers treatment for opioid use disorder. They are LegitScript certified and offer medication assisted treatment.

The clinic accepts most insurances and offers self payment as well.

Medication Assisted Treatment

The clinic offers outpatient detox by providing suboxone sublingual film. Suboxone is not advised for pregnant women. As suboxone slows breathing, we know that using alcohol and other depressant medications while on suboxone could be fatal.

Suboxone will reduce withdrawal symptoms from opioids while terminating cravings. In addition to medication you will attend counseling and behavior therapy. We know that detox medications are more effective when therapy is also administered.

Additional Addiction Treatment Options

Clients report that treatment by Dr. Marella, a pain doctor, is very efficient. They have also reported the clinic is quick to see new patients. Patients are treated one on one with a doctor who has addiction training.

If you are using the transit system, a bus stop is an eight minute walk from the clinic. If you are looking for a quiet place to meditate in nature after a therapy session, the Aldridge Gardens is less than six miles from the clinic. You can enjoy the hydrangeas, birds, outdoor exhibits, or take a quiet secluded walk on one of their trails.
