Seneca Health Services Pocahontas County provides regular outpatient care, intensive outpatient programs, outpatient detoxification, medication assisted treatment, and telehealth services for adolescents and adults in Marlinton, West Virginia.

Outpatient Detox and Programs

The center provides outpatient detox for alcohol, benzodiazepines, cocaine, methamphetamine, and opioids in addition to general and intensive outpatient programming. Medication assisted treatment includes methadone, buprenorphine, naltrexone, acamprosate, and disulfiram accompanied by individual therapy, group counseling, family psychoeducation, and case management.

The Marlinton facility serves youth and adults dealing with substance use disorders or co-occurring mental health disorders. Specialized services are available for veterans, criminal justice clients, trauma survivors, and clients seeking gender specific treatment.

Medication Management and Therapy

Evidence based therapies used include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma related counseling, relapse prevention, and 12-step facilitation. Clients also have access to psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, psychologists, and licensed therapists who provide psychotropic medication management and treatment.
