About Sheepgate, Men’s Re-Entry Campus
Based in Omaha, Nebraska, Sheepgate (Adult + Teen Challenge) Men’s Campus and Car Donation Center provides addiction treatment programming to teens and adults. Having begun as Teen Challenge, the facility has since expanded its scope of support to include men aged 18 and older, and women aged 19 and older. Residents on the program must pay a nomina intake fee of $1000 on admission.
Do a 180 in Less Than 365 Days
The team here understands that addictive behaviors can take years to form, which is why they’re passionate about the 12-month commitment expected from the program. In this time, participants can not only address symptomatic behaviors, they’ll build their confidence, integrity, and have a chance to get to the root cause of their addictive behaviors.
Phased Healing
While the program doesn’t provide detox services, the team can refer you to external providers that can help before you begin this program. Residents stay in dormitory housing, and are provided with meals for the first seven months of the program.
During this time, they engage in character and discipleship classes, group sessions, and one-to-one mentoring. In the final 5 months of the program, residents are prepped for reentry into society and are expected to get stuck into community activities, secure full-time work, and attend church, all while growing and living among their peers.
