St. Francis Alcohol and Drug Treatment Center

About St. Francis Alcohol and Drug Treatment Center
St. Francis Alcohol and Drug Treatment Center is a facility within CHI Health that is CARF accredited and SAMHSA certified. Compassionate care is provided for individuals aged 14 and older struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. The center has provided a supportive environment rooted in the 12 step philosophy of Alcoholics Anonymous since 2007. They’re based in Grand Island, Nebraska.
They accept Medicaid, private insurance, TRICARE and self pay. Payment plans are available and Medicaid eligibility assistance for affordability.
Detoxing Safely
The center offers a continuum of care that includes medically supervised detox to safely manage your withdrawal symptoms with 24/7 medical oversight. Their residential program typically lasts five to 28 days.
During your stay, you will be provided with intensive treatment with individual, group and family therapy. They use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and trauma related counseling.
Three Months Maximum
Their intensive outpatient program (IOP) offers flexibility with three hour sessions, three days a week for up to three months. Your plan will be able to incorporate medication assisted treatment (MAT) with buprenorphine or naltrexone for opioid or alcohol dependence.
MAT is given alongside occupational therapy. Their regular outpatient services support long term sobriety with relapse prevention groups.
Supporting Your Recovery
Specialized services include family education to strengthen your support networks and care for youth, adults and seniors. Aftercare will ensure ongoing support with therapy and community resources.
Clients praise the person focused care and excellent family counseling. Due to their Catholic affiliation, you may notice a religious undertone.
