About Yes House
Yes House in Corvallis, Oregon is permanently closed. They operated under Milestone Family Recovery and once offered a variety of residential and outpatient programs for adolescents and for adult men and women. Although they didn’t distinctly have detox here, they could connect you with a detox center and provide a rehab program for you after your detox. Corvallis is in central Western Oregon, where the campus of Oregon State University is on the edge of the main downtown area.
Residential and Outpatient Adolescent Program for Addiction
YES House stood for Youth Entering Sobriety and was an adolescent program that offered residential services that included a variety of treatment methodologies. Adolescents who struggled with drugs, alcohol, and nicotine could find residential and outpatient help.
Customized programs may have included individual, group and family therapies. Gender specific groups were available to address the unique needs of adolescent boys and girls. Parent training was also included to smooth the transition back home. Students were taught recovery skills, life training, and offered referrals for educational and vocational needs.
Family Oriented Approach to Adolescent Treatment
I like that YES House also offered an outpatient program that was a certified adolescent drug and alcohol option with mental health treatment also available. They used evidence based practices with a family oriented approach to treatment.
Therapy was focused on motivational techniques and strategies. Continued care was encouraged as long as the adolescent required it. YES House accepted the Oregon Health Plan and most major health insurance providers.
