New Atlanta Detox Center Reimagines Addiction Treatment in Georgia

There’s a new Atlanta detox center that’s reimagining what addiction treatment looks like across the state. Peachtree Detox serves a wide territory surrounding the Atlanta metro area including Alpharetta, Marietta, Peachtree City and Sandy Springs, reports say.
They’re licensed by the state of Georgia and accredited by The Joint Commission. The clinic brings inpatient treatment to individuals struggling with substance abuse and additional mental health concerns in a comfortable and stable environment. Clients can receive evidence based treatment for fentanyl, methamphetamine, heroin, alcohol, and benzodiazepine dependence.
Jason Flag, the CEO of Peachtree Detox outlines the overarching goal to create a clinic that is equally effective and comfortable. “We want clients to feel safe and supported the moment they arrive.”
Helping Georgians Rebuild Their Lives
The clinic offers many amenities that help clients receive individualized care. When going through the detox process, Peachtree Detox offers a thirty bed center designed to feel like home. The facility features onsite dining and common areas that promote healing and peer connection.
There’s also round-the-clock medical monitoring to support clients’ safety and comfort.
Dr. Ajibola Babatude, the medical director at Peachtree Detox says, “Detox is just the beginning not the end of sustainable recovery. Our goal is to help people rebuild their lives.” The clinic’s treatment programs aim to do just that.
Programs treat both the addiction and mental health concerns once clients have gone through the withdrawal process. These include medication assisted treatment (MAT), psychiatric care, therapy and aftercare planning. Peachtree Detox does more than help clients through the detox process. They provide long term support that clients can carry with them once they finish a program.
Providing Accessible Care
One of Peachtree Detox’s goals is to bring accessible, affordable and quality care to clients and their families. They partner with many insurance companies and the admission team walks clients through the steps to verify insurance, explain benefits and explore payment options.
The clinical director, Debbie Weatherford said, “We’re committed to removing barriers to treatment and ensuring everyone has a chance to heal.” Peachtree Detox is dedicated to bringing addiction and mental health care to the community regardless of a client’s ability to pay.
