About Treatment Centers LLC Rowan Treatment Associates

Rowan Treatment Associates provides compassionate and high-quality medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults facing opioid use challenges throughout Rowan County and beyond. This outpatient clinic is located on Jake Alexander Boulevard West in downtown Salisbury, about two miles southwest of the Historic Downtown Trolley Tour Route and the Bernhardt House.

The clinic keeps costs low by accepting Medicaid, Medicare and some Medicare Advantage plans. State funding is also often used to offset treatment costs for eligible clients.

Methadone and Suboxone Maintenance Treatment

Rowan Treatment Associates takes a personalized approach to support clients through every stage of their opioid recovery. Following a thorough intake assessment, you may be prescribed Suboxone or Methadone as part of your personalized recovery plan to ease withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings.

You’ll then attend therapy sessions to build robust coping skills, address underlying emotional issues and learn relapse prevention techniques to support long-term abstinence. Your care team may link you to community resources to help with housing, employment, transportation or medical support. This ensures you have the support you need to move forward with confidence and renewed vigor.

Helpful Structure and Support

At Rowan Treatment Associates, clients will have the structure, support and encouragement to turn that first step into real and forward momentum. They strive to ensure you never feel alone in your journey to regain control of your life and build a healthier future for yourself and your loved ones. They make this possible by creating a supportive environment built on trust, respect and evidence-based care.

They’re a safe haven for individuals with diverse recovery needs, including pregnant opioid-dependent women seeking tailored support that promotes maternal health, infant well-being and family stability. Their genuine commitment to guiding clients toward long-term success while keeping costs low has earned them the trust of many locals.

This explains their 4-star rating and the positive feedback from many past clients. One client noted, “They’re very professional, non judgemental, and don’t take advantage or overcharge their clients because of their situations…”

Detox Service Setting

  • Outpatient Detox

Outpatient detox gives you access to medically supervised withdrawal services while still allowing you to live at home. You’ll attend a clinic for treatment and monitoring. This flexible option is suitable for those with mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms who have strong support systems.

  • MAT

Medication assisted treatment combines medication and counseling to manage withdrawal and reduce cravings for opioid and alcohol addiction. Medications may include methadone, buprenorphine or naltrexone. MAT is tailored to your needs so you can actively participate in your treatment journey.

Programs

  • Adult (18+)

Adult programs address the substance use and life challenges specific to adults. Therapists can deliver sessions in individual, group and family settings. Services often include job support and life skills training in a structured environment.

  • Young Adult (18 - 25)

Young adult programs are designed for individuals who are transitioning into adulthood. Topics of discussion typically include identity, independence and peer relationships. Providers may also offer life skills training and career support.

  • Women

Women's programs offer a safe and supportive space to focus on gender specific issues such as trauma, family roles and mental health conditions. Therapists tailor the sessions to address women's needs and foster empowerment in a healing and nurturing environment.
