Medication Assisted Recovery for Pregnant Women in Springfield, Missouri
The treatment center is only a few miles from US Route 60 (the James River Freeway). It’s less than two miles from the vibrant and revitalized walkable downtown area that’s home to the historic Gillioz Theatre and the Springfield Sculpture Walk. The Sculpture Walk offers a unique opportunity to take a relaxing walk while viewing interesting and quirky outdoor sculptures.
The treatment team welcomes pregnant and postpartum women into the MAR program. Clients here have expressed their appreciation for what they feel is a professional and caring staff. They feel they were offered genuine concern and support for their situation
Dual Diagnosis Treatment Track
Notably, this isn’t only a methadone clinic. The treatment team recognizes that MAR treatment is more successful when coupled with counseling.
Many people have co-occurring (dual diagnosis) mental health disorders that contribute to their substance use. Many veterans have post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) that plays into their addiction. The counselors here work with Veterans and others with PTSD and other co-occurring disorders to help them learn to manage their triggers.
They provide individual and group counseling. Additionally, since addiction affects the entire family, there are special family groups. Clients receive cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to learn how to manage triggers and stress without turning to drugs.
Another great thing about this program is the flexible treatment plans. The staff will work with you to provide flexible treatment that helps you protect your anonymity and maintain your daily life and commitments.
