Front Street Clinic (Lemon Creek) is a Federally Qualified Health Center in Juneau, Alaska offering integrated medical, dental and behavioral health services including a dedicated opioid treatment program.
The clinic provides evidence based medication assisted treatment for opioid use disorder with buprenorphine and methadone, plus required counseling and case management. Their whole person approach combines addiction treatment with comprehensive care to help adults in Southeast Alaska access support that addresses both recovery and overall health.
Opioid Treatment Program
Front Street Clinic operates a federally certified opioid treatment program focused on adults with moderate to severe opioid use disorder. The program uses medication assisted treatment paired with counseling and case management to support long term recovery and minimize the effects of opioid addiction.
Treatment targets both the physical and behavioral aspects of opioid use disorder. Participants work with a care team to stabilize their health, build coping skills and address underlying issues, with structured participation criteria to ensure consistency and progress throughout recovery.
At Home Medication Dosing
The clinic offers an at home medication program through Sonara, allowing eligible patients to receive methadone via video supervised dosing at home. This option reduces the need for daily travel to the clinic while maintaining safe and monitored administration, making treatment more accessible across Juneau and Southeast Alaska.
Getting Started with Care
Front Street Clinic serves Juneau with in person outpatient care Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. As the only FQHC in Juneau, the clinic integrates addiction services within a broader health care model.
The clinic accepts most insurance plans including Medicaid and Medicare, military insurance and private coverage, and offers a sliding fee schedule for those who qualify.

Outpatient
In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
Detox Service Setting

Outpatient Detox
Outpatient detox gives you access to medically supervised withdrawal services while still allowing you to live at home. You’ll attend a clinic for treatment and monitoring. This flexible option is suitable for those with mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms who have strong support systems.

MAT
Medication assisted treatment combines medication and counseling to manage withdrawal and reduce cravings for opioid and alcohol addiction. Medications may include methadone, buprenorphine or naltrexone. MAT is tailored to your needs so you can actively participate in your treatment journey.
