The Salvation Army – KCK Citadel
About The Salvation Army – KCK Citadel
The Salvation Army KCK Citadel is dedicated to serving the most vulnerable members of their community when they need help the most. Located in Kansas City, Kansas, they offer several relief services to individuals and families and through their partner Mirror, can provide many substance abuse treatment options to people of all ages, including detox and MAT. While Salvation Army services are typically offered at no cost, Mirror’s treatment may require payment or insurance.
Work for Success Program
Mirror’s assistance isn’t limited to substance use disorder treatment, either. Their Work for Success program sees clients who are unemployed, underemployed, or have recently been released from the justice system get education and assistance in self sufficiency.
It’s suitable for individuals and families and the skills developed over the course of the program can elevate both. Self empowerment and self sufficiency are pillars of substance abuse recovery.
Disaster Relief
Salvation Army KCK strives to help families and individuals in any way it can, which includes disaster relief efforts. These emergency services are tailored to individual needs and may include things like temporary shelter, medical care and food. And as always, the Salvation Army works with community partners to expand the support they offer.
