About Pathways Chemical Dependency Services

Adults 18 years of age and older who are in need of immediate assistance for inpatient rehabilitation and/or detoxification treatment have a valuable resource in HealthSource Saginaw’s Pathways Chemical Dependency Center. Pathways utilizes a comprehensive interdisciplinary team approach to address chemical dependency and mental health needs to promote stabilization.

We utilize a combination of processes to assist patients in becoming substance abuse free, including elements of the 12-step program. We emphasize individual goal setting and cognitive restructuring to build each person’s self-confidence and self-esteem.

Inpatient Advantages

  • Temporary separation from family and work-site to a stabilized environment
  • Thorough and thoughtful assessment of each patient’s existing social, recreational, and spiritual support mechanisms as well as planned reinvigoration in these areas
  • Comprehensive treatment of physical, social, and spiritual components of addiction with a specialized approach for those with both addiction and psychological issues
  • Coordination of follow-up support
