About Roads to Recovery
Roads to Recovery is a peer led recovery community organization in Lynchburg, Virginia, offering practical support and structured housing for adults in recovery from substance use disorders. Located on Langhorne Road, the nonprofit operates a Recovery Center and residential recovery homes designed to help individuals build long-term recovery through life skills, employment assistance and community accountability. Addiction Recovery Programs at Roads to Recovery
The Recovery Center serves as a community hub offering peer recovery coaching, peer led groups, employment support, life skills training and relapse prevention. Clients engage in a recovery management model that builds recovery capital, supports tobacco cessation and connects them to mutual support meetings and telephone supports. The center also hosts an innovative Recovery Smiles initiative focused on oral health awareness and treatment for people in recovery.
The Residential Program provides structured, single-gender recovery homes with 24/7 supervision by a House Manager.
