About Women & Children’s Center
The Women’s and Children’s Center for Inner Healing (WCCIH) is a residential substance use treatment center in Fairbanks, Alaska.
This long term, high intensity program offers 24/7 supervised care for adult women facing severe substance use and co occurring mental health conditions.
This program has a standout family preservation model, allowing eligible mothers to live in treatment alongside their young children.
High Intensity Residential Care for Women
WCCIH provides clinically managed high intensity residential care with at least 20 treatment hours per week for women.
The program includes daily group counseling, individual sessions, family therapy and trauma informed groups.
This space provides medication assisted treatment, psychiatric evaluation, relapse prevention and aftercare planning to help women transition safely to lower levels of care.
Single Mothers Care in Alaska
The program takes care of pregnant, postpartum, parenting and single adult women throughout Alaska.
Mothers may bring up to three children age seven or younger to live with them during treatment.
This model supports the parent child bond while addressing substance use, trauma and behavioral health needs.
Home with Accepted Payments
WCCIH is a 12 bedroom home with a fenced backyard in a quiet Fairbanks neighborhood, within walking distance of an elementary school.
Children can attend school, Head Start or daycare.
The facility does not deny anyone services and accepts payment sources including Medicaid, insurance plans, TRICARE and self pay.
