Adams County Health and Human Services is a public behavioral health and substance use treatment provider in Friendship, Wisconsin that serves residents throughout Adams County.

The Behavioral Health Division offers outpatient mental health and alcohol and drug abuse (AODA) services including assessments, individual and group therapy, and care coordination with community partners. Services are available to individuals of all ages from youth to seniors. The center accepts Medicaid and other insurance coverages.

What addiction and mental health programs are offered?

Adams County Health and Human Services provides outpatient therapy for substance use and mental health concerns including individual counseling, couples therapy, family therapy, and group therapy. The team also offers initial bio-social assessments, school based counseling for youth, and telehealth services.

Clients in need of detox treatment are referred to Gundersen Moundview Hospital for inpatient behavioral health care.

Who can receive services here?

The department serves children, adolescents, young adults, and seniors age 65 and older in Adams County. Treatment is offered to individuals, couples, and families including those with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

Services are available Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm with extended hours on Tuesdays until 7:00pm and a 24 hour emergency telephone line is available.
